Department Of Zoology
Overview
The department is one of the oldest departments of the college and the subject was ost preferred by the students who opted medicine till 1978. In the academic year 1957-58, B.Sc course in Zoology was introduced. The year 1984-85 ushered in M.Sc., course in Zoology. The department conducted a special summer sequential course in 1987. M.Phil course under self supporting stream was introduced in the year 2006. The Department got affiliation as Research Centre from January 2009.
